Slowing down. . .
I've been really good about posting one thing every day, but it's becoming a chore. I don't like chores. I'm a notorious chore avoider, have been all my life. So, this is just a little note from me saying that there may not be a post every day anymore. It doesn't mean I don't love all 18 of you, my loyal followers, it just means that nothing interesting or fun has come my way that compels me to post. See for a while here I've been SEARCHING for things to post, instead of just letting things come to me, which has been exhausting. Feeling pressure to post, even pressure of my own creation, is a bad thing. So I'm not going to let the pressure drive me anymore.

I’ve been posting often on this blog lately, but the posts are just short and breezy pop culture-y things.
I realize it’s quite impersonal, but I think I like it better this way. I used to be far more personal with my blogging, especially when I first started out years ago on myspace. I would even post rants and drunken ramblings. But I’m not a writer and I don’t intend to use my blog as a personal diary.
Instead I think I will continue to post the way I have been. If I think something is cool or funny or pretty or creative or interesting, I will post it here. I’ve started a few series you may have noticed: birthdays, art, photos, and film scenes I love. That’s fun for me. I enjoy that. Oh and I will of course continue to post my reviews of movies, books, concerts, etc.
Some personal stuff might pop up here and there, but it definitely won’t be my main focus.
Anyway, I hope you continue to enjoy my blog! Thanks for your time.

Not that it matters. . .
because nobody reads this anyway, but I have been woefully neglecting this blog. Which is why there are a rash of posts today. This blog needed some life breathed into it. Although I realize that I have absolutely no focus whatsoever. It's just a ramble here, a rant there, and lots of movie reviews in between.
